My photography style
is not “sit down and smile at the
camera.” Each person is unique and
has their own personality and that is
what I want to capture however I can.
With a wrinkle of a nose or a poutty
lip...whatever it takes to capture a
little bit of who they are. These are
the moments that are real, not
contrived. These are the expressions
that will make you smile and bring you
a lifetime of cherished memories.
Expect me to be patient.
A typical session runs about an
hour and involves multiple clothing
and background changes. I’ll work with
you to create an atmosphere which is
comfortable for your child and then let
them lead the way.
Suggestions to consider:
Solids are best to wear because they
help keep the focus on the face and
unify multiple subjects. Couples or
small groups should choose simple
garments within the same tonal
ranges. Light and dark tones
together create visual confusion.
Patterns and logos will not only
distract from the subject, but they
will also date your image. Bold
stripes, plaids, checks, and prints
are confusing and do not photograph
well.
Suggestions to consider:
Long sleeves are essential for
teens and adults as bare arms tend
to draw the viewers attention away
from the face. Keep in mind the
intent of the pictures and how you
want to display them.

At no other time in life will your child
learn, grow, and develop more than
they do in their first year. The minute
they blow out the candle in their first
year cake, you may find yourself
wishing that you could go back and
capture it all. What better way to tell
the story than through Storytime.
Storytime offers a discounted sitting
fee for those who start early. The
9th month of pregnancy begins our
journey through a magical tale of
Chapter 1, The First 12 months of life.
Chapter 1 Special
Moms-to-be, newborn, 6 month, 9 month and 12 month are the usual sessions. You must do at least 4 of
the 5 sessions to get a discounted sitting fee. We want to persevere your child's development and growth at each session
for the first year of life. Once your one year pictures are done an annual coffee table book may be custom made for your
child for an additional charge.
